July 2003 , We have received a request for urgent action from ABGteks in Indonesia regarding a lock out of workers who participated in a strike on July 11th at PT Busana Prima Global, a factory producing for such sportswear brands as Head, Le Coq Sportif, Lotto, Ecko Unltd, and Bear USA. The workers have requested that supporters send letters to factory management and to the companies producing garments at the factory to press them to reinstate the workers and respect union rights. Keep supporting the 170 young Indonesians in the PT Busana factory who dared to stand up for their rights.

May 2004 ,
Thirty six of the workers who were fired last July for participating in a strike are still campaigning for their reinstatement at the factory.
We ask you to make some time to support workers of the PT Busana Prima Global factory in their struggle to come to a satisfactory solution with the factory management.

Since our last update management has failed to sufficiently remediate the problems in a timely manner, and therefore the CCC is again calling for action on this case. It is now more than two years (!) that the PT BPG workers have been calling for justice - please take a few minutes to adapt and send a letter of protest to factory management.
