9 Aug 2001, New international campaign

An international campaign for workers rights and against global sweatshops has been launched on August 7th 2001 in NYC, by a coalition of international unions and workers organizations. This campaign is being coordinated by UNITE! (Union of Needletrades, Industrial and Textile Employees) in collaboration with other labor, community, and faith based organizations.
