Supporting European Initiatives on Monitoring and Verification
of Codes of Conduct in the Garment and Sportswear Industries
In this project, SOMO facilitates exchange of information and
cooperation between leading Multi-Stakeholder Initiatives in
the garment and sportswear industries in Europe.
The participating initiatives are The Dutch Fair Wear Foundation
(FWF), the UK-based Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI), and pilot
projects of the Clean Clothes Campaigns in France, Sweden and
Switzerland.
In order to improve cooperation between the national level
initiatives and work towards a common European framework for
code monitoring and verification, SOMO has produced the following
