Support for the "Code of Labour Practices for the Apparel Industry including Sportswear"

Amsterdam, April 5th 1998

What follows is a list of organisations supporting the "Code of Labour Practices for the Apparel Industry including Sportswear." This list will be updated continuously as more organisations join. For some countries there are no "supporters" yet, because discussions are still going on, or because of other internal dynamics. Especially for many countries in the South we did not yet get responses, because of slower communication, the need for more discussion or other factors. So this list is not complete and not a good representation of the organisations involved in the process. However, we decided to bring it out because several groups asked us to, and also because the list is quite impressive even at this stage.
