On June 10, activists of the CCC in Belgium – disguised as postmen - delivered about 10.000 postcards to retailers Aldi, Lidl, Cora, Carrefour and Trafic. The action was part of an ongoing public campaign around the need for an "Asia Floor Wage": a realistic minimum "living" wage for workers in the garment industry and other international production chains.

Representatives of Carrefour, Cora and Lidl Belgium received the CCC “postmen” delegation, and they were invited to meet with union representatives from Asia who will visit Belgium later this year.

The June 10 action was the first bulk delivery of postcards since the start of the action a month ago. The 9.853 signers ask the five companies to implement the Asia Floor Wage throughout their supply chain. The action will continue until this Autumn.
