Description: Massive economic growth led by foreign investment of manufacture of goods, toys and clothing in Thailand. 90% of workers are women, many from rural areas working from age 12. Three women tell their stories about working in Kader Toy Factory. They talk about threats and intimidation of workers. Also what happened when there was a fire, when bosses refused to evacuate the factory as they were worried that the workers would steal the toys they were making. Workers who were injured in the fire haven't received any compensation despite the insurance company giving the factory owners a massive payment to cover lost stock.The documentary offers detailed information about how much the workers earn in comparison with housing costs,
